I have a confession to make…I love to see the important people in my life HAPPY. I love to see them succeed or do something wonderful. I love hearing about the adventures in life that my friends are having. It is something that brings me such joy in my life because I feel that everyone deserves happiness and wonderful opportunities in their lives. I really believe that one of the keys to being a happy person is to be happy for the people around you.
One of my best friends Taneil just recently had her first baby and it is fabulous to see how happy she is as a little mommy. It makes me so happy to see how much she loves her little baby. She is head over heels for this little guy. She is so peaceful and seeing her holding a precious baby makes me so happy for her. This is the kind of happiness that I feel everyone deserves in life; not only the happiness that comes from holding your own baby, but the happiness that comes from seeing the ones you hold close doing great things and becoming great people. Congratulations on your new, sweet bundle of joy!

I love fabulous people! Nicole & Michael are SO fabulous and SO wonderful and I had a great time with them photographing their Bridal/Groomal Session. It was So.Much.Fun! It was freezing when we got together but they were both such good sports which was awesome. They are so sweet together and I am anxious for their wedding next month! My favorite photos from the day are with the best prop ever-my daddy’s sweet 1954 Corvette. Thanks, Nicole & Michael for being so totally fabulous and thanks to my dad for having such an awesome car

The Cassani family was the winner of my Free Portrait Session that I held a couple of months ago. Ben & Rachel are awesome and fun couple and they have THE.CUTEST.DAUGHTER.EVER!!!!! Rachel has an awesome BLOG that is full of fabulous ideas for moms- take a second and check it out! Rachel was so cute and brought me delicious cookies-did I already say that she’s awesome?!?
Anyway, we had a fantastic time for their family session- their little baby girl is just a doll and was seriously the best toddler I’ve ever worked with! I got back last night from a week long stay in Italy. I seriously love that place and every time I go back I feel invigorated and inspired. There is so much to see, so much to take in and so much amazing gelato out there! I think we hit up the gelato spots at least three times a day! Some of my favorite shots from my trip were taken at night- here is one of the Coleseum and of the Forums.

I LOVE WHAT I DO! I love meeting people who are in the happiest time of their lives and becoming friends with them. I seriously have the coolest job ever and feel so grateful having such great clients who rock my world!
I flew to Utah over the weekend to photograph Stephanie & Clark’s engagement session and had a great time! From the instant I met them, I felt like I was with old friends. They are both fun, fabulous and sooooo easy to talk to! Even though it was FREEZING, we had a blast together. Both of them were totally game for every crazy idea I had for them- they even laid down in a muddy marsh in the rain for me, which made for some fabulous pictures! Thanks so much for being so adventurous, you guys! You have no idea how much it means to me.
Clark proposed to Stephanie on top of the Seattle Space Needle- how cool is that? They are so in love, so into each other and are such a perfect pair!
