Love comes when you least expect it. It seems as though when you think that you are too busy, not interested, or just plain “over-it,” love will jam it’s foot in the door and sneak it’s way into your life. This is Melanie & Micah’s story. Both of them just looking for a friendship, when love snuck it’s way into both of their lives and took over everything.
Two weeks after Melanie & Micah started dating, Micah left for Basic Training. Over the next 10 months, their only form of communitcation would be letters. Getting to know you letters would soon turn into love letters and when Micah came home for Christmas, he knew what he needed to do. He suprised Melanie and took her to the Reno temple and asked her to marry him. In August, they will be starting their lives together in that same place where they were engaged. They are such a good match, such a great team. While taking their pictures I was able to have a glance of how sweet they are to eachother and it just made me smile. Thanks, you guys for the amazing session. You guys braved the awful weather and I loved getting to know you both!

Angel is FABULOUS. She has killer style, even when she is pregnant. I love women who can totally rock the stilettos and sexy clothes at 8 months! Way to set the standard for all pregnant women in the world, Angel!
I had a fantastic time with Angel for her maternity session. I LOVED the location for this shoot & Angel had no problem with people watching her as she posed right in the middle of the junk yard. She is fun, sassy, easy going and just an inspiring person to be around. I know she will be one heck of a mom! Thanks, Angel for the fun session!

They met while in college. Two bright and adventurous individuals ready for all that Cal Berkeley had to offer. What they didn’t expect was to find the person that they would spend the rest of their lives with. Their paths crossed at the right time and through the course of dating, they realized they were completley perfect for eachother and completley in love. One night at Connie’s parents restaurant, Mark bent down on one knee (in front of both his and her parents!) and asked Connie to be his wife.
She said yes.
And neither of them have ever been happier.
Connie & Mark are the kind of people who you want to be BFF’s with. They are both intelligent, fun, and just easy to talk to. They are the kind of people who make everyone feel good about themselves. They are genuine. And that’s why I was so lucky to spend a gorgeous Sunday afternoon with them for their engagement session. Because the Cal Berkeley campus is where they met and fell in love, that’s where we headed for their session. Connie & Mark-thank you for being so, so fabulous. I can’t wait for your wedding in July!
