The doors of the beautiful Oakland Temple swung open and there they were, finally standing together as husband & wife. Their eyes were gleaming…their hands woven together & they could not stop looking at each other. Smiles & laughter permeated the air. Katelyn’s little brothers cheered as loudly as they possibly could. On a scale of one to ten in happiness, Katelyn & Trevor were at a twenty-five.
It was just the perfect moment. I’ve heard that there is no such thing as the perfect photograph, just the perfect moment. And this was it. Their whole day was the perfect moment & I loved being able to capture every part of it.
Katleyn & Trevor- I LOVE you guys. You rule my world & I am so happy that you have found this wonderful love in each other. Thank you for being so fun, so easy to work with and for being my friends. As I waited on the grounds of the Oakland Temple with camera in hand, I wondered what they would be like. What they would look like. What their story was. I turned around & saw Elise & Zach walking hand-in-hand, the grins on their faces bigger than the great ol’ state of Texas. It was instantly that I knew that they were happy people. That they were people who find joy in everything…and that they were both bursting with joy knowing that they had found each other.
Thank you, Elise & Zach for being fabulous! Your wedding was nothing short of perfect & I’m so grateful for the chance I’ve had to meet you both. Thank you for sharing the joy you possess with me & with everyone around you. Your joy is contagious and it is bound to make for a wonderful & fun marriage.
