Meet Janelle. She’s super, super amazingly fabulous. And yes, people- she has always been this sexy. Even at 30-something weeks along, she still knows how to work it! She is getting ready for sweet baby #2 in just a few short weeks & we got together for a fun maternity shoot.
Janelle, you are so gorgeous and I loved being able to spend some fun time with you!
P.S I am so extremely in love with your haircut but more importantly, I’m excited to meet little girl #2! xoxo, marielle.

As I drove to the Sacramento temple to shoot Danielle & Jack’s wedding, I felt a buzz of excitement. With each wedding I photograph, I feel that same excited buzz all the way through my body. But that day, I was so excited to be a part of Danielle & Jack’s wedding to document their special day, to help tell their story. Having spent time with Danielle & Jack, I knew this was a wedding that would be pure fun.
The sun was hot as they came out from the temple doors, & as they stood there for the first time as husband & wife, they both giggled with happiness. It wasn’t just me that was buzzing with excitement & happiness anymore- it was everyone who stood there surrounding the new Bride & Groom.
I knew from the beginning that I was going to love Danielle & Jack’s wedding. And when I say love, I mean looooooove! Danielle is super detail-oriented & she made every last detail of her wedding perfect. From the colorful paper lanterns & gingham tablecloths all the way down to the homemade apple pie, this was a summer wedding at it’s best!
Thank you, Danielle & Jack for the ultra-fabulous time. Thank you for making me feel at home during every part of your special day! You both are so very deserving of all the wonderful things that are happening in your lives right now! Enjoy your Hawaiian Honeymoon & all the happiness that lies ahead of you… xoxo, marielle.

I just got back from shooting a fantastic, fabulous and wonderful weekend wedding for Mark & Connie. In fact, I’m still full from all the delicious food they had! Seriously.the.best.food.EVER.

It was my very first day of college when I met Dawn. She was making her way around the room, introducing herself to each & every person. Her smile lit up the room & everyone wanted to get to know her because they could see what a fabulous person she was. I knew I would be crazy if I did not become BFF’s with her right there and then!
I have admired Dawn since that first time we met, almost 10 years ago. She has always been a kind, sincere & true friend to me. She’s the type of friend I can call in the middle of the night for advice, the kind of friend who will be laugh with me & cry with me too, the type of friend who will dance with me like no one is watching…even though we want everyone to be watching…a fabulous BFF who I love & admire.
When Dawn called me to tell me that she’d met Kyle, I knew that there would be wedding bells in the future. They just seem to complete each other. In all the 10 years I’ve known Dawn, I have never, ever, ever, never, never seen her this happy. I want you to know that I am just as happy for you, Dawn! You so deserve the happiness you are enjoying right now. I am so anxious to photograph your wedding in the beginning of August! I can’t wait for you guys to start your lives together! xoxo, marielle.
