I have to admit that I was kinda nervous for Julie’s photo shoot. Having worked with Julie’s wonderful mom for the past few years, I have heard all the amazing things Julie has been up to. Like living a stellar life in New York City & being a uber-amazing actress. She is so talented that plays have been written specifically for her to star in…hello! Can you say incredible? Now you understand just why I was a bit nervous to meet her!

As Julie stepped out of the car & we said our hellos, all of my little jitters went away. Julie is not only super talented, but she is also genuine & real. She has a way of making people around her feel comfortable & happy. We had a great time during her photo shoot!

Julie, you are so fabulous. When I visit New York I am definitely going to call you so you can give me a tour and show me where I can buy all the cute clothes & accessories that you have! Thanks again for the fun session! Looking forward to working with you again sometime soon! xoxo, marielle.

The energy between them is palpable. It’s in the way Mike looks at Candace with kind, understanding eyes. It’s in the way Candace throws her head back in laughter when Mike tells a story. It’s the sweet way they talk to each other. It’s the way they depend on each other. It’s a true, totally meant to be kind of love.

I really, truly believe in fate. I believe that people are placed in our lives to make us happier & better people. After spending time with Candace & Mike on their beautiful day, it became even more apparent that this is true. Individually, Candace & Mike are fabulous, genuine & amazing. But together, they make each other (as well as the people around them) happier, better people. They are the type of people you want to surround yourself with because they are incredible people.

Thank you, Candace & Mike for being so much fun & so fabulous. You guys are so deserving of the happiness you have in your lives right now. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to document your special day!  I am so blessed to have such wonderful clients like you! xoxo, marielle.

There are times in my life when I feel like I need a boost. Not the type of boost that usually comes from a Red Bull, Mountain Dew or even from Jazzersize, but a real boost that comes & rejuvanates me right down to my soul.

Driving home the other night from a beautiful wedding reception, I looked out the window & saw an incredible sunset. I headed towards the nearest exit, pulled over & sat on the hood of my car & as light drops of rain fell on my forehead, I was rejuvinated. Right down to my soul. It is times like these when I remember how lucky I am to live in this beautiful world. It was exactly what I needed to feel uplifted & to remember how much I have been given & how God is so good is to each of us.

Here’s what I saw…

Sneak Peek…

in Weddings

Here’s a sneak peek from Danielle & Jack’s beautiful & fun wedding on Thursday. Stay tuned for more!

The lights were dim and the disco ball slowly turned, illuminating the gym. Some teenagers danced with the awkward-ness that just comes with being a teenager, others just sat on the sidelines wishing they had the nerve to get up & dance. And as at every high school dance,  the music was bumpin (I’m guessing Baby Got Back & some Boyz II Men were played- it would not be a real high school dance if they weren’t & you know it!). Basically it was like every single high school dance everyone has ever been to…..with one exception.

THIS was the very dance where Leslie & Martin first laid eyes on each other. They became friends & then their friendship grew to a relationship. What began long ago on that very dance floor has evolved from puppy love into real, true, tangible love. On Valentines Day, Martin surprised Leslie with a knockout ring & a promise to be together forever. She of course said YES!

Thanks so much for the fun & fabulous session, you guys! I had a blast laughing with you guys & learning more about you both! I can’t wait for your wedding in September! xoxo, marielle.
