Melanie & Micah. Wedding.

in Weddings

The wind blew at the Reno Temple but inside there was a sense of calm & peace. Melanie & Micah’s day had arrived & they were both so at peace knowing that it was finally their day…the day that Melanie would finally wear her gorgeous dress, the day where they would dance their first dance, the day that would start their forever.

Their wedding day was filled with nothing but perfect joy, happiness & simple gorgeousness. Their wedding reception was held at the always incredible Orchard House in Genoa, Nevada. I loved the soft pink details & the glowing paper lanterns that adorned the trees. And I loooooooved the chocolate fountain (seriously I could not pull myself away from that thing for a good 10 minutes…..) As I looked around at all the friends & family who gathered for their wedding, I realized how many people have been touched by Melanie & Micah’s kind & genuine lives. They have the ability to make everyone around them feel important-they truly love each & every person they know.

I looooooove my job. Not only do I get the chance to witness the most amazing day in a couple’s lives, but I get to become friends with the couples who I take photos of. It makes my job so meaningful & well….just so awesome! At Melanie & Micah’s wedding luncheon, I thanked them for feeding me & Micah turned to me & said, “thank you for being our friend.” Tears literally formed in my eyes & I felt so grateful to have such amazing clients & such good friends.

Melanie & Micah…I think you were totally made for each other & totally amazing individuals. From the minute we met, I knew we’d become friends…and I felt so blessed for the opportunity to photograph your wedding day! More than anything, I wanted to capture the joy & love you share together…I wish you a fabulous & peaceful life together-puh-leeze come & visit me in the Bay Area! You are always welcome to stay with us!

With much love & appreciation….xoxo, marielle

Hey Marielle, these pics are Beeeeautiful. Seriously coming from a photographer myself I so desperately hoped for an awesome photographer that would be able to capture my little sisters beautiful day and that was diffently you. youre amazing and I love how you look for the fine details in all things and capture it. the candies in the hand, the romantic kiss out in nature. the simple little details such as the lights and flowers and the elegant way you capture the Angle Moroni. I am so happy that melanie and micah will have some amazing pictures to carry with her through out their lives. Thank You for sharing with us your wonderful talent and capturing this day for Melanie and Micah with such elegance and charisma.
