Perfect, golden light…darling baby wearing pearls…sounds like a fun photo shoot to me! I had a fun time photographing Charlotte-she is such a sweet, adorable baby with a very fashionable mama who knows how to dress her to the nine’s!

This summer has been such a whirlwind & I can’t believe it’s already fall! I have lots, lots, LOTS more photo shoots coming your way soon! For now, here’s darling Charlotte!!

Faux fur & pearls on a baby? Um….yes please.

Babies are always happiest when they are in their mama’s arms. I love this one. LOVE.

It’s amazing how things change over time. How within just a few weeks or months, feelings of friendship can turn into over-the-moon love. This is the story of Stacie & Justin. Stacie claims that when she first met Justin, she didn’t really like him. But as time went on, their status as acquaintance changed to classmates. Which then turned into friends. Which then turned into boyfriend & girlfriend. And as time went by, they spent more & more time together: feeding the ducks, snuggling on the couch, laughing & having fun every single minute they were together. And during that time, they realized that they no longer wanted to be classmates, acquaintance or boyfriend & girlfriend. They realized that they wanted to be together forever. On a chilly day in Idaho, Justin took Stacie on a walk outside, got on one knee & asked the girl who had once been his acquaintance to be his lovely wife. She said yes & they’ve never, ever been happier! They were married in the Oakland temple on a beautiful day & I was sooooooooo happy to join in on the festivities!

Stacie & Justin were smart & had bridal photographs taken a few days before the wedding. I love when people opt to do this because it makes the actual wedding day a whole lot smoother. I loved their gorgeous, perfect for early-fall color scheme…purple, gold, oranges. I loved that Stacie wore fun purple shoes & that Justin wore a smashing purple tie. I loved their easy-going families, their delicious cake & I especially loved working with such a fabulous & fun couple!

Stacie & Justin-thank you SO much for choosing me as your photographer! I loved, LOVED working with you both. You are sweet & genuine people & your love is so sweet & inspiring. I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness & lots of bread so you can always feed the ducks together! xoxo, marielle.

Gorgeous couple & a gold wall? Um….yes please.

Stacie…you are beyond gorgeous!

And Justin-you clean up nicely, too!

I am so excited to post this fun bridal session of the fabulous duo, Stacie & Justin! They are gorgeous, fun & full of life & I was honored to be their photographer for their bridals as well as for their wedding! I had such a blast with them on this shoot. They were so easy to work with, so much fun & we had a great time despite the fact that it was 104 degrees outside during the shoot! Holy hot! Even though it was sooooooo hot outside, I’m always, ALWAYS a fan of gorgeous, late summer light. It’s so beautifully yummy….

I was so happy they were willing to meet up a few days before their wedding to shoot their bridals. Because we did bridals before the wedding day, they were able to have some of the shots from their session printed & framed at their wedding reception. I can’t wait to post their wedding-it’s coming soon, I promise!

Here are my favorite photographs from their session…

Stacie….girl-you are gorgeous!

And incase you haven’t heard, I’m having a photography workshop in Reno that will be amazing & a TON of fun! You can check out all the details & even sign up HERE...
