Meaghan & Joseph. Fairview Gardens Wedding.

Joseph’s sisters were worried when he started bringing his girlfriend, Meaghan around. Meaghan was (and still is!) a beautiful blonde with a kind, loving personality. But his sisters were worried that somehow Meaghan would break their brother’s heart. Quickly his sisters learned that Meaghan wouldn’t break Joseph’s heart…she instead was taking his heart and making it whole. After years of being together, they have seen each other through thick & thin. They’ve stayed together through high school dances, good days, hard times & even through Joseph’s dyed black hair phase. They are two people whose hearts are fused together…two hearts that are whole because they belong to each other. On a overcast summer day in Nevada, they joined hands and were married by Joseph’s father. And as they were pronounced husband & wife, you could tell that Meaghan & Joseph’s hearts just might explode from sheer happiness.

Meaghan & Joseph were married at the Fairview Gardens in Reno. It is a beautifully manicured property & a lovely location for a wedding. I loved the saturated yellow tones throughout the wedding. Meaghan wore white Tom’s (smart girl-she was soooo comfortable!) & Joseph wore an awesome Nevada belt buckle. I loved the paper lanterns, their bundt wedding cake, the candy station & Meaghan’s keyhole cutout in the back of her dress. Every detail was thought out & the day was beautiful. My favorite part of the day by far was when Joseph surprised Meaghan by SINGING their first dance song to her. Seriously-I am telling you-they are adorable & their wedding was just as adorable as they are.

Meaghan & Joseph-thank you for having me capture your beautiful wedding. It is amazing to see how head over heels you are in love with each other even after all this time. I know that your lives will be happy & fun-because that the kind of people you are. Thank you most of all for trusting ME & for being my new friends. XOXO, marielle.

Meaghan & Joseph chose to see each other before the ceremony…it was such a sweet, private moment for them…

Meaghan had her father & her step father walk her down the aisle…

The ring bearers are ADORABLE.

As the sun was setting, some amazing storm clouds blew in & we snuck away for some sunset shots. Perfect way to end their day!

You, seriously, take the most amazing wedding pictures. I love your work. This is a super cute wedding and this couple was very fortunate to have you as their wedding photographer.

  2. Marielle,
We have exchanged emails once about me second shooting for you, which I would still love to do, but, I just wanted to say this wedding is adorable. The simplistic, elegance, and the adorable details make this wedding a shoe in for a blog. You should submit, I KNOW it would get published.
