I have known Sydney for what feels like forever. I used to be one of her advisors at church…and I completely adore her. She is beautiful, witty, smart, hilarious & one of the most down-to-earth people in the world. I’ve been able to see Sydney grow & I’ve been lucky to see her turn into an even more beautiful person over the years. I was elated to hear that she had found someone who was just as wonderful, witty, hilarious & down-to-earth as her. And I was even MORE elated when I heard that Dan had proposed to Sydney-making her the happiest girl in the world! They were married at the beautiful Oakland temple in August & I was beyond excited to be able to take her photographs for her picture perfect wedding!
Their reception was held at a family friend’s home-it was a beautiful location for their friends to mingle, eat great food & celebrate Sydney & Dan’s wedding. A beautiful cake, home made macaroons, banana slushees, beautiful pink floral arrangements & antique lace doilies made the reception beautiful, fun & tasty! Guests sat on blankets on the lawn and enjoyed food from a food truck (amazing), had their photo taken at a photo booth & then danced the night away. It was a FUN night & I was happy to be a part of such a joyous occasion!
Sydney & Dan-thank you for letting me take photographs of your incredible wedding day. I loved, LOVED every moment of it & I loved being able to see how truly happy you make each other. With love, XOXO marielle.
My favorite…
Are you kidding me with the darling pink shoes & the blue toenails? SO perfect…
The location for the ring ceremony wasn’t too shabby!
I’ll end on this photo of Sydney & her father because it makes me so happy!

Marielle! How lucky we were to have you capture this happy, happy day! You are a wonderful photographer and a terrific friend. We were blessed to have you take these beautiful photos. Love, Kathryn (Sydney’s mom)
You’re right. Their friends home was a fantastic setting for their reception. And yes, the blue toe nails and pink shoes were perfect. Thank you for sharing these photos.
