I really believe that some people are meant to find each other. That they are meant to be together. That they-out of all the people in this big old world-were supposed to BE together. And I definitely believe this to be true with Kristina & Chris. When they met each other the first time, they didn’t get along. But with time & a second chance at meeting up again, things worked out & they fell in love…because they were meant to. There is no doubt that they make each other happier than anyone else in this whole world could make them. If you know Kristina & Chris, you know how amazingly happy they are together. They were married over Labor Day weekend at the beautiful Arista Winery & I was the lucky gal to be able to photograph the beauty & the happiness of their wedding! Their day was exactly like Kristina & Chris-filled with sheer happiness, joy & laughter. They spent the day in each other’s arms-laughing & having the time of their lives.

Arista Winery looks out to the beautiful vineyards & hills of Healdsburg & the view AND the venue are top-knotch. I love shooting there because there is literally nowhere at Arista that isn’t completely stunning. Their reception was beautifully decorated with burlap tablecloths, wildflower centerpieces in greens, blues & oranges, there were lawn games for the guests & incredible food for all. It was so hot outside during the ceremony but as the sun set over the vineyards, it was perfectly comfortable & just a perfect summer evening. Wine was poured, toasts were given & guests spent the evening dancing & having the best time ever.

Kristina & Chris-you guys are some of my favorite people. You were a dream to photograph-you are such a funloving, easy going couple & I know that you will live lives that are overflowing with joy! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together! XOXO, marielle

Oh, Jimmy Choo. Such a great way to start a wedding…

Love this one of Kristina getting buttoned up into her dress…

Married!!!

One of my favorites…

Their bridal party was sooooo fun!

When I asked Chris for his wedding band, it was super hard for him to get it off. Like, he had to put BUTTER on his finger so it would slide off. He told me after he was finally able to pry it off his fingers that the ring shot had better be amazing-I definitely think it was worth putting butter on his finger for him to get the ring off, don’t you? :)
