Meet my forever best friend & her perfectly darling little family. Amber is my cousin & has been my best friend since I can remember. She has been my best friend through everything-all my bad clothing combinations, all my bad prom dates & she’s even been my friend despite all my bad dance moves. Needless to say, Amber’s been my rock throughout my life & I love her more than I love candy corn (that’s saying a lot, folks.) We met up last time I was in Reno & I shot their family session in about a half an hour. It was so much fun-I love them all so much & am blessed to have them as my family!

Here’s one of my favorite family sessions I was lucky enough to shoot while I was in Reno last month. I was really excited to shoot these because they wanted them taken by some old trains in Sparks! Isn’t this the most beautiful family who ever walked the face of the planet? Seriously-such a gorgeous little family! I love the outfits they chose, their cute kids & I especially LOVE the mom’s name: Maryelle-our moms knew each other when they were both pregnant!

Today my lovely, sassy & beautiful little girl turns three! I can’t believe it-she literally has grown up right before my eyes. She brings such happiness to us & I am so grateful to call her mine. Being a mother has brought me more happiness than I ever thought imaginable. She is truly perfect & such a little joy. Each night as I tuck her into bed, I think about what a sweet angel she is. She literally is my favorite person on the whole planet & I love her more than words can describe. Happy, Happy Birthday, Hadley!
