I’m a total sucker for fairy tales movies. Sleeping Beauty….The Little Mermaid… and my personal favorite, Cinderella…By the end of watching any of those fairy tale movies, you can find me curled up on the couch with a wad of kleenex crying my eyes out because, “I’M JUST SOOOO HAPPY FOR THEM!” And that is how I feel about Nicole & Michael. I’m just sooooooooo happy for them!!!!!
Their cake topper shows just what kind of sweet relationship Nicole & Michael have…Cinderella & Prince Charming. Not only do they both resemble the figurines that topped their cake, but they are just that perfect for each other. Their love is just that kind of love. They are just so meant to be together. When you are around Nicole & Michael it’s like being in a fairy tale where everything is wonderful and amazing.
I LOVE Nicole & Michael. They are such a wonderful match & I had the best time at their beautiful wedding at the Reno temple. I am so blessed to have worked with both of them. They are just genuinely good people & I really thank God every day for such wonderful people who have come into my life.

The ring ceremony:
It was last summer and I was shooting a gorgeous wedding in Reno. The food was amazing. The sun was slowly sinking into a desert sky. People laughed and were having a great time. And the music was bumping. I walked over to the DJ to tell him what a fantastic job he was doing & as I got closer, I realized that the DJ was none other than my friend Brandon! We started chatting & I told him that when he got married he HAD TO CALL ME! (It was a little more like a threat than a request but whateva…..)
Fast forward a little less than one year…I get an email from Brandon telling me that he was pretty darn sure he had found THE ONE and that he was getting ready to propose. I was beyond excited for him because I knew how deeply he was in love with Rachel. AND I knew that meant he wanted me to shoot his wedding!
Here’s their story…..
Rachel has a fabulous family who wants nothing but the very best for her. Her uncle and her little sisters were just dying to set Rachel up with Brandon. With just a few little nudges from her family, Rachel and Brandon started hanging out, going boating together and spending more and more and more time together. Rachel said that she realized that she was in love with Brandon because, “Every day I spent with Brandon was just a perfect day.” They both realized that they wanted those perfect days to turn into perfect weeks, months and forevers. I am just so happy that Brandon has found someone just as wonderful and fun as he is. I am so excited for their wedding next month in the Oakland Temple!

Jack & Danielle are fun, fabulous & just full of life. Danielle and I go waaaaaay back to the early days of college at UNR. She is a kind, fun & wonderful person to be around and I knew that when she found her soul mate that the would have to be amazing. And he is! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!! They are both so in love & just so happy to be together.
They already had their engagement photographs taken so Danielle asked, “Can we do a Jack & me ‘just because we’re so cool’ photo shoot?”
And I said of course. There’s nothing that I love more than hanging out with cool people, getting to know them & having a fun time! We ended up having a great time together!
So here is their fun, just because they really are so cool photo shoot! I knew things were headed in a very good direction when Danielle pulled out a fully packed picnic from her darling blue beach bag. Nutella, cherries, delicious orange soda….good gracious! Anyone who knows me knows that they way to my heart is through Nutella…and lots of it!

The Cassani family was the winner of my Free Portrait Session that I held a couple of months ago. Ben & Rachel are awesome and fun couple and they have THE.CUTEST.DAUGHTER.EVER!!!!! Rachel has an awesome BLOG that is full of fabulous ideas for moms- take a second and check it out! Rachel was so cute and brought me delicious cookies-did I already say that she’s awesome?!?
Anyway, we had a fantastic time for their family session- their little baby girl is just a doll and was seriously the best toddler I’ve ever worked with! I got back last night from a week long stay in Italy. I seriously love that place and every time I go back I feel invigorated and inspired. There is so much to see, so much to take in and so much amazing gelato out there! I think we hit up the gelato spots at least three times a day! Some of my favorite shots from my trip were taken at night- here is one of the Coleseum and of the Forums.
