The light streamed into the room where Lauren and her bridesmaids prepared for the big day. The flower girl jumped up and down on the fluffy hotel bed as Lauren had the finishing touches done on her makeup. Bridesmaids chatted and helped Lauren slip into her wedding dress. Down the hall, Christian and his friends watched hockey & laughed as they prepared for the day’s festivities. After all the preparations were finished, they headed to the church with a mix of excitement, nerves & happiness. They were married at the incredible Mission Santa Clara, which was a gorgeous venue for their ceremony. Candles lit the aisle where Lauren’s father walked her down to see her soon-to-be husband for the first time. Prayers were recited, songs were sung & finally they were pronounced husband and wife. It was a lovely ceremony and such a perfect place for their lives together to begin. Afterwards, their wedding reception was held in the incredibly beautiful Saratoga Country Club.
I love weddings that are fun and timeless. Lauren & Christian’s wedding was the perfect embodiment of just that. Timeless decor, classy attire & an all around fun day! Their guests were able to mingle on the grounds of the Saratoga Country Club before heading down for dinner, dancing & celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. The sun sunk behind the rolling hills, casting a pale pink hue in the sky. The music played, the champagne was poured & incredible memories were made. Lauren & Christian! Thank you so much for having me photograph your incredible day.
