Jamie & Mukund had a colorful, beautiful summer wedding last year in San Francisco. I love shooting weddings at the City Club in San Francisco because the venue has such a great feel to it. I love all the Art Deco decor, the views of the city are incredible & if you are lucky enough like we were, they will let you go on the rooftop for photos! Jamie & Mukund were married on a gorgeous July day…for those who are familiar with San Francisco’s summer weather, you’ll know that sunny & mild days in the summertime here are few and far between! Lucky for Jamie & Mukund, the weather was beautiful and sunny until the fog rolled in later that evening. Their day was nothing short of perfect & I loved being able to document all the joy from their day!
One thing I loved is that Jamie & Mukund wanted to see each other before the ceremony and do all of their bride & groom photos early. This gave us ample time to hop in the car & drive to some of their favorite San Francisco spots for photos. If you want to maximize the time you have for your bride & groom photos on the wedding day, I’d suggest doing a first look and having tons of time for your bride & groom photos! We had a fun time going from Alamo Square to downtown San Francisco and everywhere in between.
