About Me
I love the Oakland Temple. I know, I know, I say that about everything. But it’s true! And I love photographing weddings at the Oakland Temple. In my opinion, there are few LDS temples that compare in beauty to the Oakland Temple. The landscaping year round is breathtaking. From the gorgeous tulips in February and March down to the poppies in November…the Oakland Temple is always a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photographs. With a rooftop garden that has an iconic view of the Bay, staircases with unique architectural details & the interesting gates, there is something interesting to photograph at almost every turn. Not only is the landscaping incredible, but the temple grounds boast two beautiful water fountains & a killer view of San Francisco. Everyone is welcome to be on the temple grounds, regardless of whether you are a member of the church. The grounds are open to the public and everyone is welcome to head to the rooftop garden to enjoy the beauty.
A few photography tips to consider when planning a session at the temple…
I have had the opportunity to photograph over 300 weddings at the Oakland Temple & it has not ceased to amaze me. If you are an LDS bride & groom looking for a temple that is not crowded, with interesting architecture & gorgeous landscaping, the Oakland Temple might be right up your alley. Here are some of my favorite photographs I’ve had the chance to take at the lovely Oakland temple!
